We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Consultant - Inventory Planner, Optimizer to join our growing team, working alongside our analytics and client teams to implement and leverage insights from AI/ML predictive models and dashboards, driving the monetization of these analytics outcomes.

Position Overview:
As an Inventory Planner/Optimizer, you will play a key role in driving our inventory management strategy and ensuring that stock levels for online & offline channels are optimized to meet customer demand while minimizing costs. You will leverage your expertise in inventory planning, data analytics, and process optimization to improve supply chain efficiencies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and logistics, to ensure accurate and timely stock replenishment across all sales channels, with a strong focus on retail and e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Inventory Optimization: Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to balance supply and demand, minimize stockouts and overstock situations, and optimize overall inventory turnover.
•    Forecasting: Utilize historical data, sales trends, and seasonality factors to create accurate demand forecasts for multiple categories, channels (e-commerce and retail), and regions.
•    Data Analysis: Use analytics and reporting tools to analyze inventory performance and derive actionable insights for process improvements. Leverage SQL and Power BI to create real-time dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
•    Collaborative Planning: Work closely with the procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure the smooth flow of products through the supply chain, aligning forecasts with purchasing and production schedules.
•    Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as stock availability, order fulfillment rates, and inventory turnover. Identify areas of improvement and proactively propose solutions.
•    Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate inventory management processes and recommend enhancements to drive efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings.
•    Technology Integration: Support the implementation and optimization of inventory management systems, and explore opportunities to incorporate advanced analytics, AI, or machine learning to enhance forecasting and planning.
•    Reporting & Communication: Regularly update management on inventory status, key metrics, and areas of concern. Present detailed analysis of inventory health to senior leadership.

Qualifications Experience:
o    3-6 years of experience in inventory planning, optimization, or supply chain management.
o    Strong background in retail and/or e-commerce operations is highly preferred.

Skills & Knowledge:
o    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of utilizing analytics outcomes during the planning and execution process.
o    Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
o    Expertise in Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
o    Experience with inventory management systems (ERP, WMS, etc.) is a plus.
o    Solid understanding of inventory metrics, such as inventory turnover, lead time, fill rate, and demand variability.
•    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or related field.
